The World Tree Yggdrasil – the ancient Scandinavian people represented the world in which they live in the form of a giant ash tree. This tree was a whole universe consisting of nine worlds inhabited by giants, gods, mythical creatures and people.
Valkyrie – warrior maiden, assistant of Odin. The task of the Valkyries was to select the bravest warriors among the dead and take them to Valhalla, where they became heroes, who, led by Odin, would fight the army of the dead in a decisive battle.
Odin on Sleipnir – the supreme god of Scandinavian mythology Odin on the magical eight-legged horse Sleipnir accompanied by two ravens – Huginn and Muninn.
Valknut – a symbol of the trinity of the three main worlds of Scandinavian mythology. A sign associated with Odin.
Vegvisir – a Viking rune sign, a symbol of navigation. The meaning of this symbol is deciphered in one of the ancient manuscripts with the following phrase: « If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known. » Huginn and Muninn – a pair of ravens who fly around the world and report events and news to the god Odin. In Old Icelandic, Huginn means « thought » and Muninn means « memory » or « mind ».
The Helm of Awe (Ægishjálmur) – one of the most powerful and mysterious symbols of Scandinavian mythology. Eight swollen appendages emerge from the central circle, as if protecting it and its owner from enemies.
The eighth symbol – a decorative element of Scandinavian and many other world cultures. Contrary to the false interpretation of Russian propaganda, it has nothing to do with the swastika. It is one of the variants of the symbol that has the general name Solomon’s knot and can mean immortality or eternity.
Thor’s Hammer – an amulet in the form of Thor’s Hammer is considered a powerful amulet that protects and gives the owner confidence in victory over the enemy. A symbol of the good force opposing the forces of chaos and evil.
​The World Serpent Jormungand – the personification of Ouroboros in Scandinavian mythology. An ancient symbol of eternity, infinity and cyclicity, creation and destruction, life and death, death and rebirth.
